Are you worried about embracing power?
Are you worried about appearing overly-dominant around friends or family members?
Are you worried about taking a unique career or business path that will set you apart from and violate other people’s social expectations of you?
Are you worried about being too assertive about your values?
I have a feeling that you are afraid of POWER.
If you are a warrior with a good heart and a good instinct then chances are that Power is for you.
More often than not, people of good nature are afraid of taking power and the result is that they are often mistreated and misled by over-confident fools.
Good men have a tendency to think too much and be insecure. Good men are often worried about not having enough knowledge to proceed. The result is that overconfident fools end up seizing the power and using it irresponsibly.
Another problem that good men have is that a lot of them have “nice-guy syndrome”. Nice-guy syndrome makes men too soft and afraid of confrontation.
Instead of becoming wolves and leaders, these men are conditioned to be sheepish followers.
If you are a warrior with a good heart, a sound instinct and a drive to do good for yourself, your tribe and others, I urge you to let go of fear and embrace power.
Don’t worry about making mistakes. Don’t worry about not being perfect in how you do things.
Life is a big series of making mistakes and then correcting them. I believe that one of the most important things in life is to move forward with impeccability. As long as you do your best, you have nothing to worry about or fear.
Take responsibility over your life and embrace power.
Take power in social situations where you feel that you are being misled.
Take power in relationships where your instinct and leadership may serve others better.
Take power in any situation where you are the visionary with the right mindset for the job. Do not be led by a hyena when you are indeed the lion.
The world needs you. You need you.
You may be struggling with feelings of inadequacy and unworthiness. But the world needs you nonetheless.
The world needs more good hearted warriors to seize power. The world and others have suffered for way too long due to a power vacuum seized by fools.
It may not be your time to take power. A wise leader also knows when someone else is worthy of being followed.
